A doublehanded offshore racing team from Scotland

Maggie Adamson and Calanach Finlayson are united by a mutual desire to succeed in the world of offshore racing, to represent Scotland on the world stage and to share the life-changing benefits of sailing.

TEAM SOLAN

Solan Ocean Racing is founded on a shared passion for the ocean, for Scotland and for always reaching beyond the horizon.

The story of Scotland is filled with people of humble beginnings doing remarkable things in the world. Scotland's contributions to science, technology, medicine, literature and music are far beyond what might be expected of a small, rugged, island nation, with miserable weather and a taste for drink. The sea and seafaring run deep through Scotland's history and culture. The powerful forces of the Atlantic and North Sea shape not only our coastline but also our communities.

Today those values of resilience, heritage & endeavour still underpin what it is to be Scottish. Solan is a natural ambassador for Scotland, representing our small, resourceful nation in a global community.
